So there’s this non-queer podcast that I listen to wherein, at the end of each episode, the hosts celebrate making it to the end of another episode. That’s what I feel like I’m doing at the beginning of each of these posts, celebrating that we made it to another month and that we get to feature another podcast.
This month’s podcast is from Jotxs y Recuerdos.
Jotxs y Recuerdos is a podcast archiving queer history in the Rio Grande Valley, where I grew up. It’s a dope podcast that talks to LGBTQ folks from the borderlands and their lived experiences.
This episode features and discusses chosen family, representation in literature, and machismo. Enjoy.
